The Stones are LIVE!

Check it out, we have all been waiting a long time for this...

Soccer

Dave sent me some more pictures that he and the kids took on Saturday...We are so grateful for Grandpa's camera. Abby scored two goals again this (last) week and Josh had several shots on goal but they had a really good goalie, so better luck next week for him. They both hustle like crazy and do such a great job. We love to watch, Saturdays are lots of fun! I'm not sure why the pics are so small...

Dayt and I are big supporters of the environment. Please do whatever you can today to help out, and go green! Here are some ideas that we have done to help.

Global warming is an urgent, but solvable problem. That’s why I’ve joined the We Campaign, a powerful nonpartisan movement of concerned citizens that was founded by Nobel Prize Laureate and former Vice President Al Gore. We're already a million strong -- and growing each day. Will you join, too? Visit this site to learn more and add your voice: http://www.wecansolveit.org/

I just signed a petition to urge our political leaders to sign a treaty to solve the climate crisis. If you add your voice to this issue, we can have an even greater impact and help stop global warming. Please join me by signing:

We signed up for curbside recycling at our house. It's easy - you don't even have to sort your stuff and it's only $10 a month. Call Mountain West Recycling at 801.627.3056 or email them at MWRecycling@email.com to see if they service your area.

We also planted some trees at www.Plantabillion.org

To Heck With the Snow - We're Swimming Anyway!
Tuesday it was snowing - again, so baseball and soccer practices were cancelled. Brooke and Ty called and invited us to go to the Aquatic Center and swim. I thought, you bet! Why not let mother nature know that we don't really care if it is snowing outside - again! We can still "pretend" it's summer!
This is Jantz sporting his fat lip from an hour earlier. He was playing b-ball with his brother and was trying to beat his brother to the ball and ran face first into some furniture and put a couple of teeth through his lip. Good times!
I think this is a funny picture. Josh was all over the place! Everytime I tried to take a head count Josh was always the hardest one to find. He went down the waterslides, on the diving board, lazy river thing, lap pool, you name it!
My kids love to swim! And they had a BlAsT!
Here is Ty and Hailee going down the waterslide. Although the picture isn't high quality, you can't miss how huge Hailee's smile is! She was begging her parents to invite her cousins, so thanks goes to you Hailee for all the fun!
Josh - a puppet with a farmers tan on a string!

Fun in the Sun - while it's here!
The weather has been so crazy around here. These pictures are from last Saturday the 12th. We were having some good weather so my friend Holli and I took the kids to the park for a picnic while both of our men were out working. You have to get out when you can, just a couple of days later it was snowing again!

The Hungry Caterpillar
Some days more than others you can see the smallest and simplest of things and smile. Today I know it's crazy but I just had to take a picture of this. Jantzen had an apple for an afternoon snack and this is what it looked like when I found it, like a little caterpillar had eaten around the middle. It made me smile!
Another thing he did that made me laugh: We were in the car running errands and he was becoming more and more frustrated with every stop. He kept telling me there was so much traffic we would never get home. Trying to distract him I said, "well if that car would just move over we could get by." To which he replied (here comes the "Aunt Baxism") "Gosh car, just move damn nugget!" It took me a minute to figure out where he learned that...it wasn't me! He was trying to say Dag Nabbit!
In Another conversation he was talking to Dayt about how high Dayt could kick the soccer ball. Dayt told him he could kick it all the way to the moon. Jantz said...(with dramatic pause) Ohhhh...my.....gosh! Do it! He brings me smiles and laughs everyday! There is just something about 3yr olds! It's such a fun age. He turns 4 next month and is so excited! He has been counting it down since Maggee's birthday on April 4th. I put up this counter so I didn't have to go to the calendar every morning and count the days till his birthday!

Soccer Saturday
Our Saturdays now consist of sport after sport after sport. We are OK with that though. It is nice to see the kids getting out and being active. It's just a little busy because they both have tumbling and they both have soccer games. This week Josh had a birthday party at Lagoon so he didn't get to play in his game. Soccer is a sport that Abby really enjoys because it is a "team" sport and she doesn't spend too much time being individually in the spotlight. She usually scores at least once each game. It is really good for her self confidence because she is so very shy. She has so much endurance, she will run the whole game straight without a rest except for when she plays goalie. The day before she went on the Ogden River Parkway with Grandma and Grandpa Mac and they said she did like 300 cartwheels down the trail! She never tires out! Here are a couple of pictures that Grandpa Dave took of Abby...thanks for coming and taking pictures grandpa!

FINALLY!!
In and Out Burger has made it to Utah! This is BIG news everybody! Even though I was totally jealous of my friend Becky for spending the weekend in St. George without me, I have to forgive her because she brought back this little tidbit of information. WAIT! I mean HUGE piece of information! MMMM! A double double sounds good about now!

Anyone want to join me for lunch? We'll can leave early tomorrow and be back for dinner! It's just a 4 1/2 hr trip both ways...no biggy!!

I'm Baaaaaccckk!!
Yea! My computer is back so here is the beginning of a posting marathon...

Starting with Dayt's birthday. He turned 34 last week, (still older than me) and we were able to celebrate in normal Donahoe tradition - which means many celebrations! We opened presents the night of his birthday with the kids and had Tator Tot casserole - his fav! He also got a "dog" cake because that is as close to a dog as I was willing to get at this point. The kids were way excited to open presents and gave him a good start on his summer wardrobe...AND a flour sifter. Yes, he asked for it. He likes to make german pancakes (a la Jim Stone) and he is the best crepe maker in the family. He hates the clumps in his masterpieces and really wanted a sifter. I am so happy to spend so little to make him so happy!
Throughout the week we went to dinner with Dayt's mom and the rest of the clan, I forgot my camera. We had my side of the family over for dinner and then we went to Winger's one night with Dave. It was a really fun week, and it was great to be able to see both of our families.
Here are some pictures. I would post more but you can tell that pictures make Dayt a little uncomfortable...not his thing.

You can't see this very well but I thought this was a cute picture of Jantz and Abby with Grandpa Dave at Wingers after Abby's soccer game. Then after that we went home and the kids took a quick shower and had some chocolate covered strawberries for dessert before bed. The kids love it when I make chocolate strawberries and they were so cute "indulging" in them that I had to take a picture. But Abby wasn't happy to be photographed with her hair wet!

I am not the mUsHy type AT ALL...but, having a husband like Dayt is "totally boss", he is the "cheese in my macaroni" (movie quote) and I have to tell him how much I love him and how perfect we are for each other! We have managed to keep it together through thick and thin - that translates to (me - thick, him-thin) just kidding, for almost 13 years now - oh yeah! He is a wonderful father whose children adore him. He is perfect the way he is and we wouldn't change 98% of him. We love him! Thanks for all you do for us! Happy Birthday!

The new "Top 20" or so

So, I have been getting some feedback from some people...I won't name any names...but they aren't happy that I have changed a couple of songs on my playlist and they can't listen to the ones they like anymore. Well, seeings how I have some downtime because my computer is still broken, I decided to put back a couple of the songs that people wanted to hear again, AND I added some of the songs that people mentioned they wanted to hear, and a couple of new ones. I hope I have redeemed myself!

Ode to Jillian
Jillian:
I wanted to work out like the "losers" on your show
but this new video makes my throw-up flow
It kicks my butt so dang hard
It makes me realize I have lots of lard
They say you're tv's toughest trainer
Well, now I KNOW - that's a no brainer
To be healthy, that's where I am headed
So I guess in thirty days with you and I'll be shredded!

I just have to give some props to my girl Jillian. This video is the hardest 20-minute workout I have ever done. She gives you three different levels all 20 minutes each. If you are looking for something to push your body and give you a challenge without heading to the gym everyday...this is the workout for you. The first day I did level one (barely) and felt like I was about to throw-up. I have only done level 2 once and decided I would spend a little more quality time with level 1 before moving on. It is INTENSE! It is so hard that "some" people couldn't even finish level 1 the first time. But it's all good, because it is hardcore! For any of you out there looking to get your bod in shape before summer you can buy it at Wal-Mart for $9.96. Please somebody, try it and let me know if I am just a complete whimp!

A p R i L F o O l ' S D a Y !
Thank you for all your "CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS" e-mails and texts and phone calls! We really appreciate it! Should I ever do something as CrAzY as that...I will know there are many people out there that would support me through the "ChAoS!"
Thanks for the fun!!
