Abby's Day

While I am dumping cell pics here is a day I spent with Abby a while back. Abby and I found a whole hour and 1/2 without "boys" the other day so we took full advantage of the time! We found a cute little book store that had just opened up by the rock loft called The Three Little Monkeys. We looked around for awhile and bought a couple of books. We bought a mad libs junior book and then found a little place to have a drink to fill it out. Abby chose Dylan's because she said she had been craving their type of french fries. I hadn't been there in forever so I was game. We sat down in a little booth and filled out our book. Here she is trying to lick her ice cream cone but she was laughing too hard at the story we had created. Something about the docter saying he was going to stick a "straw" in her "bum" to take her temperature and then he told her to "toot" for one minute. She is new to the whole mad libs thing but she was thoroughly entertained! We had a good time laughing together and talking about school and boys and life in general. It is so different to talk to girls rather than boys. You get so much more information and details! She is growing up and it is so fun for me to hear what she has to say about life. I am just glad that she likes to be with me. She asks me to take her out on a girls night at least once every week. Abby has such a sweet heart. She really cares about others feelings and she is such a big helper to me. She truly is a very sweet, genuine little girl.

When we got home, she hadn't had enough and still wanted to fill out the book. This mad libs book for juniors is so cool. It gives lists for the adjectives and nouns etc and uses picture coding so she can do it herself. I would highly recommend it for any kindergartener!
