"Chillin" in the pool!
My kids just can't wait for warmer weather. On Wednesday Jantz bought a swimming pool with a gift card that he received for his birthday. The pool looked WAY BIGGER on the box. No matter, he was thrilled about it! They wanted to swim so bad! I was trying to tell them it was too cold outside and I tried to distract them with errands and things that needed to be done or that dad needed to mow the lawn so we would have to wait until the next day to put it up. Well, after Dayt had mowed the lawn I had run out of excuses. I tried to explain that it would be WAY too cold, only 60 degrees, wind was blowing, after 7:00pm - NO LUCK! They were determined to swim. It didn't last long and it was definately cold (I was cold just taking the pictures) but they played in the pool! I have no idea how they handled the freezing water, the wind, the air, truly, it hurt me to just watch.

This cracks me up. We must be true Arizonans now because Carly came home from the aquatic center just the other day because she was TOO COLD. The temperature was 103, but there was some wind. Your kids are like those polar bear people who jump in icy lakes.
