Fall Fun
October 2006

We went to Gardners Village for the Annual
witch's hunt. The kids had a ball. We went
with the Morris family. Here are Josh,
Cole, Abby, Cade and Jantzen with one of the
"fake" witches. They thought it was really cool
to have "real" witches walking around.
Here are some of the pictures of the
"fake" witches.

They also got to ride in a wagon with a witch.
Our witch was "Matilda" and our driver was
warlock Steve. Tony the horse pulled us around
the village while Matilda taught us a new song
called the 12 days of halloween. She even had
a black kettle filled with props! Lisa and I weren't
nearly as thrilled to sing as the kids were!

They also have a petting farm - haunted of
course! There were rabbits, goats, ponies
and more!

Despite the look on Josh and Abby's faces, they
really did have a good time! This was at the
end of the day so I guess they were just tired!

Don't ya just love him - fangs and all!

Fun Along the Way
Las Vegas - September 2006

We decided to stop in Vegas on the way to Utah
and have a quick little family trip. We stayed at
the Excalibur because the kids wanted to sleep
in the castle. Let's just say Dayton and I didn't
have a lot of good things to say, if any, but the
kids loved every minute of it! Everyone took
turns on the waterslide. They had so much fun.

Finishing dance and school

This is Abby in her rubber duckie outfit
at her dance recital. She was nothing
short of adorable. This was her first
dance recital, and she did awesome!.
She remembered all the steps and was
NOT intimidated by the huge stage or
massive group of people.

Abby and Emily after the recital.

Josh on his last day of school at
Harmon Elementary with
Rachel and with Bay.

Jantzen...just cute.

Josh's 7th Birthday Party
August 2006

With Pirates of the Caribbean in the theaters,
we had to go with a pirate theme! Argghh!
Everyone came dressed like pirates. We had a
treasure chest, locked of course. We walked
the plank and played pirate games.

Josh opening presents with Sam, Jantz, Jerek,
Mathew, and Rachel.

Jantz didn't care about anything but the food!
Josh made his very own treasure map cake.

Katy, Giovanna, and Rachel. Everyone had
a swashbucklin good time!

July 4th

The night before the big day...Abby and Kelsey
get ready for a long night of beauty sleep.

The finished product looks "beautiful!"

Ready for the candy at the big parade.

July 2006

We went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden
with Grandma and Grandpa Mac.

We went to Pineview Dam when the Stones arrived.
Everyone got to take turns on Big Mabel. Abby and
Brady are checking out the action on the boat.

Beach baby. The Dam was a little big and
vast for Jantz so he opted to hang out on the
beach and play in the sand.

Josh was the king of sand tunnels. But his favorite
part of the day was knee boarding and riding
Big Mabel back and forth through the wake.

Summer 2006 in Utah

Summer of Sam...and Mel

June started with Sam and Melanie's wedding
on the 3rd. Abby was the flower girl and
Josh was the ringbearer.

Josh and Abby cutting moves on the dance floor!
Dancing was Abby's favorite thing, Josh's was the
"help yourself" buffet table. He thought that was
pretty excellent.

Dayton took Josh and Abby up to La Platta
to go camping with Grandpa Dave. They
LOVED it! Josh brought home a jacket full
of deer bones.
