HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
December 2006
We hope everyone had a fabulous holiday. We miss
those of you who are far away and appreciate all
the christmas photos and greeting cards that were
sent to our family. We absolutely loved to see all
of the pictures! Thank you for thinking about us.
We feel very blessed to have such great friends
and family both here in Utah and back in Arizona.
May this season bring all the best to you and your family.

December 2006
Josh has been off track since November
21st so you can imagine what fun it has
been to have him home for such a long
break! We have been able to do a lot of
fun christmas activities. We have made
christmas cookies on several different
occasions, sugar and gingerbread! We
have made gingerbread houses and visited
every lighting extravaganza or christmas
tree festival within 50 miles!

Late November 2006
We took the kids hiking before the
weather became too unbearable. We
went to Adams Canyon about 5 minutes
away from our house. The kids had a
great time exploring. Although we
went after the leaves had already turned
colors and fallen off the trees, it was still
absolutely beautiful. It has been fun to
experience the seasons again, and fall
just happens to be my favorite.

New Editions to the Family
Here are the two newest members of our
family...Rusty and Rufus. We rescued them
from the local shelter in November. The kids
were begging for a pet but we weren't sure
they were ready for the responsibility that
owning a pet brings. So...we decided to start
out small with an animal that takes pretty
good care of itself. The kids are loving it!
Jantzen absolutely adores the kitties. He
talks to them like they are people and
carries them in the football hold all
throughout the house.
Abby learned to ride a bike this past
month. It only took a few minutes and
she took off on her own. She is feeling
really empowered all of a sudden to do
everything by herself. Going to school
has given her a lot of confidence to try
things she normally would shy away from.
